For the next two weeks I won't be posting any personal experiences, the reason for that is:
Yesterday I ended up taking a trip to the emergency room because I woke up with the lower left side of my face swollen and in an extreme amount pain. Long story short I neglected a cavity, and the cavity caused me to get an abscess so now I'm on three different drugs. Thus I don't feel I should post about experiences until I can positively discern whether it actually happened or if it just happened in my head, the one medication in particular has some strange side effects.
So any ways T claims she often sees orbs of light around the deck, I've seen these occasionally too not only outside but in the living room.

And once again no activity to speak off. I'm getting bored.
So story time again =D
Our backyard isn't too large about 1/3rd of an acre, there are two spots in it that are "odd" at the very back there is an indent that's rectangular and somewhat on the large side. By the vegetable garden there is another rectangular large-ish patch where the grass does not grow very well. My mother was curious why, and figured there may have been an old foundation in that wasn't growing very well. So she gets out the shovel, chooses a spot in the rectangle, and starts digging, and digging and digging, and unearths a cat skeleton.
She still says, of all the places she could have dug in the 1/3rd of an acre property she digs up a skeleton.
Does that explain the cat apparition everyone keeps seeing here? We studied the bones and determined there were several breaks, and fractures. Perhaps it was hit by a car? I guess we'll never know as the cat wasn't ours, and wasn't the previous owner's cat either. He's been down there a while.

Again no activity today.
So an older story. Earlier in the spring I bought a new digital recorder. T and I had been using it for about an hour with nothing that remotely even sounded like a voice beside our own, there is very little static on it either. I actually love it to bits it's so clear. Anyways it had been sometime we weren't catching any anomalies at all so we stop with the direct questions and begin talking about our house. On the north facing wall there is no windows, and there should be windows. If you look at all the houses of the same style they have windows on the North wall. So T insists it would be a door, I say no it's a window since we already have 3 doors into the house. We argue for sometime back and forth, door, window. Right as we were doing this we catch a female voice that clearly and distinctly said "window" the recording didn't even have to be enhanced to hear it.
I wish I could upload it but I lost it all basically everything on my computer this summer when it crashed.

There was absolutely no activity today so this post is going to be a little different.
I am not a religious person. I do not believe in creation, it just doesn't make sense to me logically. I do not believe in God, or the Devil. I love science but as much as science can prove there is also a lot it cannot prove. So what about demonic entities, of course you hear about it all the time. I do not believe in "Demons" per-say however I do believe in positive and negative energies, everything has an opposite. If someone was a bad person while they were living what is going to prevent them from being a bad person after they die? Just as if someone was a good person while they were living chances are they'll be a good person after they die.
Demons, and the scratching. I honestly think this is silly, I've been scratched by people with five fingers, and only three lines showed up, I've been scratched by dogs, cats, and rabbits and have only had three lines show up. None of those things I have been scratched by were demonic in any way. It's how the hand/paw is shaped that determines which scratches are the deepest by where the pressure is applied. I don't believe the bible "repels" demons. It's a book that has been translated a million times, it's printed by a million printers. I personally believe if you're trying to get rid of something negative you simply counter it with positive energy. And whether you get that positive energy from reading a book, or burning sage is up to you and your beliefs.
I don't want to offend anyone, as everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and rituals. This is just one persons opinion.

This is kind of an embarrassing story that happened today.
I woke up with what I thought was a pressure headache caused by the weather, unfortunately by noon that was definitely not the case. The amount of pain I was in I knew that it was not a regular headache and by 1:30pm it had turned into the worst aura migraine I have ever had in my entire life (of course I say this every time I have a migraine). Worst of all I could not find my bottle of ibuprofen. Migraines are not something that are very common for me, I get maybe two a year. Anyways when I have a migraine I find the white noise and heat from a shower temporarily masks the pain so I jumped into the shower, well more like fell into the shower by that time the pain was making my nauseous. I ended up puking in the shower (tmi) I barely made it out of the shower before I started feeling really light-headed and shaky. I couldn't open my eyes without the light being blindingly painful, and even the smallest noise felt like being hit in the head by a sledge-hammer. I didn't comb my hair, I just quickly pulled on my clothes and crawled up into my bed. Unfortunately I still felt really sick to my stomach and my room being upstairs was definitely not close enough to the bathroom for me to make it in time to puke in my current state. So I crawl out of bed, and blindly made my way to the washroom. With the extreme pain and nausea I ended up curling up on the bathroom floor with my head on a bunch of towels. In a normal state I would have never put my face that near a bathroom floor, I even refuse to throw-up into a toilet because I will not put my face near something peoples bare butts touch. It's gross.
So now you are probably wondering what this has to do with anything. I'm almost to that part. There I am curled up on the bathroom floor crying for my mom or death, which ever happened to get to me first. This was around 2pm. The pain was honestly that bad that I wished to die. I've never wished to die before (and I crashed my bike mountain biking and the thought of dying didn't even occur and I had been stabbed in the neck by a stick from the crash).
I had been lying on the floor crying for a while, and it had been fairly quiet so of course that couldn't last and the dogs start barking. I honestly didn't think I was going to make it. I thought my head was going to explode. That is when the chills started, well I wouldn't say chills so much as I wasn't cold. It felt very electrical, I had isolated goosebumps. By isolated I meant, they started at my right shoulder and moved down to my elbow, but as soon as I had goosebumps on my elbow the ones on my shoulder were gone. It went up and down my arm about four times before it moved across my back a few times and then the goosebumps went from the top of my head to my neck. It was the oddest thing I had ever felt, it felt like someone was trying to comfort me. The only thing I could possibly relate it to was when my very special rabbit I had for 9 years passed away shortly before Christmas and my dad had comforted me by rubbing my arm-back-and-hair. I did have my eyes closed but I know I was alone in the bathroom because I locked the door since I had the light off and I didn't want anyone walking in on me while I was being sick. The feeling wasn't a short incident it lasted a few minutes before it stopped. Fairly certain I wasn't going to be majorly sick I ended up finding the "barf bucket" and making my way back to my room where I passed out until 5 when my mom got home. The massive migraine had receded enough I could function again. I still feel a bit shaky and sick but what I felt in the bathroom I have a feeling I'm going to remember for a long time.

The chair incident.
This one happened a while ago but my mother still refuses to believe it even though she was less then 2 feet away.
My younger sister and I were sitting at the kitchen table, my mother was on the computer beside the table. I had my feet up on the table legs while I read a magazine. My sister (T) was sitting with her feet up on the bars of the chair. T is 14 and not a small person, she's skinny as a rail but tall. Under the magazine I was reading I see her chair slide out and turn away from the table by about 6 inches while her feet where still up. I dropped my magazine in my lap as my jaw dropped. T has this complete look of horror on her face, I probably will never forget that look.
Of course my mom is all like Devon, that was you you pushed her with your feet. So I showed her from where I was sitting it was nearly impossible for me to move the chair back let alone turn it at the same time. It's a wood chair with 90lbs on it, there was no way I could have moved my feet over there and pushed the chair and move them back to where they were without T seeing me either. Then it switched to T did it herself. I saw her feet the entire time, they never left the chair. Also even though the chair is on a wood floor they don't slide easily, even the computer chair on wheels will not slide on it's own.

Kitty strikes again.
Last night my younger sister and I were holed up in my room sitting on my bed watching videos on youtube until am in the morning. The door to my room was shut and my dog was not in my room and the kitten was busy downstairs waging war on unseasonable decorations, i.e. there are now little snowmen stuffies everywhere. our parents where downstairs witnessing the carnage of snowmen.
My sister and I got the distinct feeling of a cat running on the carpet underneath my bed with it's claws out. While we were hearing this we also felt movement of the bed. That is when I got up to check for the cat at first we assumed perhaps he was out in the hallway running around like crazy and the sound was just travelling same with the vibrations. However there was nothing but a few boxes of junk we'd stuck out in the hall to go to the dump earlier. I ended up going downstairs and finding the cat laying on the top of a chair.

Recent sightings.
Who saw it: My Mother
What: Apparition
Where: Moving from living room to laundry room.
Details: As soon as she walked in the back door, my mom started asking why my sister had not gone to school today. (It was around 3pm, my sister doesn't get off the bus until 3:45pm) When I said she had gone to school my mom then asks well then who just ran from the living room to the laundry room like they didn't want to be seen? Again I replied, I was alone in the house. She then goes and looks and verifies there was no one there.
Who saw it: Younger sister
What: Apparition
Where: Rabbit shed.
Details: After taking a bathroom break while watching TV I had returned back upstairs without my sister noticing. She then claims to have seen me walking around in the rabbit shed so she went outside to tell me something, only to find no one in the shed. This happened around 8:30pm
Who Saw it: I did (well I technically didn't see it, I felt it).
What: What I assumed was the cat
Where: My bed.
Details: I wasn't sleeping very well last night. I kept waking up for no apparent reason. My neighbours then proceeded to be obnoxiously loud at 2am. Around 4am I felt the cat jump onto my bed and step on my left thigh. Irritated I went to brush him off but only felt air. That's when my dog lunged onto my bed and I went into panic mode because my dog will try to eat the cat. I ended up sticking the dog up on the top bunk while I stupidly tried to find the cat in the dark angry about why someone would put the cat in my room when they knew he and the dog don't get along. That's when I realized my door was still closed, and the cat was still my my sisters room.

Intro
Hmm this blog why did I create this blog? Or right, I live in a VERY active haunted house. I actually hate that term "haunted house" it makes me conjure images of pumpkin patch trips into those silly little spooky mazes. Anyways my house has ghosts. And this blog is to chronicle everything that happens to use here. So here is the story:
We moved into this house in February of my Grade 10 year. I would have been 15 going on 16.
When we first moved in all I really remember is being excited that there was a tire-swing, we lived less than a block away from the bay, and we backed onto a forest. Oh and the Beck house. the "super-haunted-creepy-mansion" that is just around the corner. I'd tell you about it but this blog is about my house, so I would suggest you google it if you're curious about the "Beck House" as I'm sure to reference it a billion times.
Our house is 120 years old. It was built as a tenant house for workers of the Becks (reference, see?). In the crawlspace (literally you have to crawl) we found numerous bottles of whisky among other alcoholic bevies that date from 1880-1910. Some from local breweries (that no longer exist).
So when did I first realize there was something going on here? I was standing in the shed on the back porch. This shed is where my show rabbits are housed (www.devonglen.com) I was standing just inside the door leaning against a cage when very clearly I hear this husky-whispered male voice that sounded like it said "I am Robert". I wasn't the only one who had a heart attack the rabbits also freaked. I wouldn't say I was scared, I was startled. After all rabbits do not speak English.
I kept that incident to myself for sometime, because honestly who would believe me? Then came the numerous incidences where my mom would believe my dad had come home from work because she saw "someone" walk around the back corner of the house. We don't use the front door (inconvenient), or the side door (area converted into laundry room). It didn't always happen but you could be sitting at the computer or eating at the table and you would see someone walk around the corner of the house.
It doesn't end outside. The particular areas we see and feel things are around the stairs, and in the kitchen. We have caught evp's in our living room that intelligently involved themselves in our conversations.
Activity doesn't always happen either you can go days, weeks, or even a month without seeing, or feeling anything odd at all. Then sometimes you can't go a day without seeing or feeling something. This year I moved away for 3 months and during that time was the most normal I felt in almost 5 years. I never got the chills randomly, I never felt my hair touched, I didn't hear any strange voices. It was boring. So there you have it. Post number 1.
